Under the background of Mandarin fever, the foreigners’ demand for Mandarin Chinese teacher is growing. Nowadays the teacher training system is not enough mature to meet the international demand which fundamentally restricts the promotion of Mandarin Chinese. In recent years, with the developments of the mobile communication technology and mobile terminal, App which is an important part in the intelligent system has penetrated into our study, work and life, so a new study way emerges as the times require. With the advantages of connectivity, interactivity and situationality, App facilitates the foreign students learning Chinese at any place and time, which has played an important role in the promotion of Chinese language and culture.The research framework is as follows:Firstly, under the guidance of Documentary Analysis, the paper learns about the theory and practice of research about the mobile Chinese learning based on App.Secondly, through investigating the educational App synchronically and diachronically from horizontal and vertical dimensions and doing case analysis based on the three selected respective Apps, we can grasp the Chinese-learning App macro and micro circumstances.Then, through the questionnaire survey, the basic situations and the expectations that the foreign students learn Chinese by the methods of App can be known. In addition, the paper utilizes the SWOT analysis method to analyze the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats of this learning Approach. Combining the two achievements, we can put forward some principles that should be observed which can provide references for the future App exploitation.Finally, based on the above analyses, not only the developing prospects of Chinese-learning App can be explored, but also some suggestions about the App promotion can be put forward.In summary, Chinese-learning App will have good prospects which is of great significance to the international promotion of Chinese that should arouse wide attention.
