Along with technology and social development,mobile learning software has gradually become one of the important means of extracurricular learning in recent years.An increasing number of foreigners also start to use mobile Chinese learning software to learn Chinese.Existing mobile Chinese learning softwares are large in number and rich in variety,covering spoken language,listening,words,and HSK,but the problems of unstable function,improper content,and single practice mode.In order to optimize mobile Chinese learning softwares,this paper analyzes the designs of existing mobile Chinese learning softwares based on theory of teaching Chinese for foreign students,expecting to have implications for the design and optimization of mobile Chinese learning softwares.This paper does statistics of 37 mobile Chinese learning softwares.This paper investigates the 21 mobile Chinese learning softwares which can be downloaded for normal use in terms of voice,words,grammar,and HSK.The first part of this paper introduces research background and previous research results,defining the importance of analyzing mobile Chinese learning softwares based on theory of teaching Chinese for foreign students.The second part makes introductions of the sample selection and classification principle of the existing mobile Chinese learning softwares;this part also introduces the developments of the existing mobile Chinese learning softwares briefly.The third part makes detailed comparative analyses of various types of mobile Chinese learning softwares,analyzing the advantages and disadvantages of the existing mobile Chinese learning softwares based on theory of teaching Chinese for foreign students.Finally,this paper understands the needs of foreign learners on mobile Chinese learning softwares by questionnaires;this paper links theory of teaching Chinese for foreign students to propose suggestions onoptimization.It can be seen that the existing mobile Chinese learning softwares make insufficient references to theory of teaching Chinese for foreign students through analyses,which gives rise to the fact that the design of the existing mobile Chinese learning softwares can not satisfy the needs of learners.The directive function of theory of teaching Chinese for foreign students should be attached great importance in the future development process of mobile Chinese learning softwares,so as to further optimize the designs of softwares and promote the spread of mobile Chinese learning softwares.
