In recent years Mandarin fever prevailed in India, Chinese teaching become the focus of the study at the university of India.Increasing number of Indian students also choose Chinese Professional related university, Visva-Bharati University is one of them.Visva-Bharati University is India’s First University who started school of Chinese language teaching.Cheena Bhavana was also India’s oldest, largest and one of the earliest Chinese language teaching and research institute, but the Chinese textbooks used by Cheena Bhavana are mostly the last century chinese hanban and textbooks donated by Chinese universities. These Chinese materials are no longer satisfying the needs of students in Chinese learning. The research object was based on the Chinese textbooks of Cheena Bhavana (Visva-Bharati University).By adopting the combination of questionnaire and interview research method conduct research on Chinese textbooks used by Cheena Bhavana in recent times. Mainly from the teaching Material’s overall layout, words and annotation, the content of the text, grammar and interpretation, practice after class as well as the form of teaching material. These are the complete set of six aspects. According to the Specific aspects of the teaching material found problems, such as frame structure of the teaching material is not clear, obscure grammar explanation, large amount of new words and such problems as lack of illustrations in the textbooks. In allusion to the problem of teaching material of six aspects put forward concrete suggestions and solutions. Hope to Visva-Bharati University Cheena Bhavana Chinese teaching material selection and provides the certain reference significance.
