Oral Chinese course for foreigners is a verbal communication ability developed by skills training sessions. Its teaching methods and objectives are very clear, that is, the application of the communicative approach in the classroom, teaching the principles of interactive communication, succinctly training and developing students’Chinese communicative competence, and improving their oral expression levels. Especially in the advanced stage, foreign students want to be able to use Chinese accurately and gracefully to express their thoughts and feelings and have language skills. Training objectives should be flexible in the use of communication strategies and should include good language communication activities. The turn-taking strategy is the most direct expression of interactive communicative competence. The ability to turn-take is an important constituent element of Chinese learners Oral Communicative Competence. Therefore, the present study analyzes Turn-taking in Oral Chinese course for foreigners, combined with the advanced stage of students’oral teaching requirements, analysis of the teachers and students of Turn-taking rule and Turn-taking strategies, to improve teaching efficiency of Oral Chinese class and students spoken level, thus promoting the development of Chinese Foreign Teaching.The structure of this paper consists of five parts:Chapter Ⅰ:Introduction:This section introduces the topic of reason and turn-taking research, dividing it into turn-taking mechanism, turn-taking application and turn in the classroom application reviewed, and will summarize the results of previous studies. Secondly, this section looks at research contents research methods, significance of the research, and presents a final account of the content.Chapter Ⅱ:Investigation. This section elaborates on conversation analysis theory and turn-taking theory, introduces the design of survey objectives, survey respondents and introduced survey class type and materials as well as describing the collection and operation of data.Chapter Ⅲ:Investigation and Analysis. This section describes teachers’and students’ turn-taking rules in class, analyzes teachers’and students’in-process use of turn-taking strategies, builds statistical data, analyzes and explains data as well as obtains research results.Chapter Ⅳ:Teaching suggestions. This section summarizes oral course’s turn-taking problems, and deals with the problems from the angle of both teachers and students, proposing corresponding suggestions.Conclusion:This section summarizes the main contents and results of this study, and outlines the innovation of this paper as well as the shortcomings and limitations of this research which provide direction for future research.
