A Case Study On The Construction Of Community Culture Center In Jinan

Community cultural center is a non-profit cultural services organization which is dominated by the government, based on towns and street-community and supported by modern information technology. The goal of community cultural center is to meet the diverse cultural needs of people and provide entertainment, education, science popularization and other services for residents. To develop urban community cultural center is of great significance for the construction of the whole society and public cultural service system, the guarantee and realization of people’s basic cultural rights, and the advancement of economic and social development. In the year of 2004, our country put forward the requirements of public cultural services formally, then decided to push the public cultural service system center to the grassroots community in 2007.In 2008, "Community Cultural Center" comes into public view as the main platform for people enjoying public cultural services. With the support and promotion of local governments, community cultural center appears all over the country as a new thing, but the process of its construction varies because of the differences levels of economic and social development. "Community cultural center of Jinan City " is the object of study in this paper. Based on the macro background of the construction of public cultural service system in Jinan and the national policy document about community cultural center, under the guidance of the New Public Service Theory, by means of reading relevant literature and processing of field survey data, the writer combs the construction process of community cultural center in Jinan City systematically. Under the premise of affirming its construction performance, it’s attempted to discover the characteristics of community cultural center construction in Jinan City, as well as give corresponding countermeasures and suggestions as a reference of community cultural center construction of Jinan City in the future focused on the existing problems in the construction.
