This method can effectively address the missing appropriate appellation issue due to the change of the social factors.Relatives’appellations as a basic vocabulary in the different national languages have the very self-contained and relative stable system. It also reflects each nations’ traditional culture, social life and national psychology and so on. With the development of the society, relatives’ appellations will be changed by the change of the people’s lifestyle and attitude. Both Korean and Chinese use relatives’ appellations to call someone who does not have the relative relationship with us. Particularly to someone we know but do not have the kinship, or even to stranger. These are the performance of the extension of relatives’ appellation and the expansion of object. Also we can call that the transfer of the relatives’ appellation. This phenomenon is very common in South Korea and China, which can help to narrow the distance between the communications and make people feel more close, moreover it can show the humility and respect. This study will focus on comparing relatives’appellation between Korea and China, classifying the vocabulary and analyzing the application. The most important issue is to compare the application of relative’s appellation in both countries, find the similarities and differences and even to further combine the non-correspondence to further explore the Chinese-appellation turn called dislocation.Right now, cross-cultural communication activities become more frequent, Korean and Chinese Appellation turn is not only the unique language vocabulary phenomenon, but also the more dynamic language process. This study will let communicators have full understanding of the difference about relatives’appellation transfer between Korean and Chinese and help them to use that properly and hope it can promote the cross-cultural communication more smoothly.
