Literary sketches had a long history. Modern literary sketches on the newspaper changed a lot. Changes concentrated on the narrator and narrative perspective, the narrative type, the innovation of the plot structure and narrative language.The last chapter focuses on the spread of the literary sketches on the newspapers Modern newspapers provide a new media for literary sketches. Authors in this time had another identity, which is the editor of the newspaper. At the same time, the readers of the literary sketches also gradually expanded and democratized.
