From the materialistic view, dialectical relationship is the dual nature of matter. They exist in the identical matter. Their relational is both mutually independent and mutually. Meanwhile, vocal music is a form of art style, which consists of linguistics, music, performance, and other factors. During singing, the singers need to deal with the complex relationships among the physiology, singing skills, and emotional representation. In this paper, using dialectical unification as a tool, the author discusses the complex problem in three of aspects vocal performance, including the basic factors in vocal performance, the mechanism and the technic in singing, and the dialectical relationship between the emotion expression and the singing mechanism. In particular, in the second chapter, we discuss several basic components in vocal performance, including breathing, vocal cords, throat, and diction. We observe that all these discussed factors are essential important for vocal performance, and all of them are the fundamental requirements. In the third chapter, we focus on the singing mechanism in vocal performance. In the previous two chapters, we mainly discuss the basic knowledge and skills, and in the fourth chapter, we focus on another important problem in vocal performance, and discuss the relationship between singing mechanism and the emotional expression. We proposed two conclusions: "singing mechanism is the fundamental skill for emotional expression" and "expression of emotion is the ultimate goal for singing skills."In summary, understanding the dialectical relationship in vocal performance is essentially important for singers to improve the singing and performance skills.
