Li Guangtian’s prose works is very rich, According to the general academic perspective, Li Guangtian’s essays divided into three stages:before 1937 prose for the early works, the creation of the period of the war of resistance against Japan and the war of liberation for the works of the middle period and after the founding of new China, the creation for the later works.Li Guangtian’s prose style has great changes, such as the expansion of the subject matter and a lot of style experiment.This change is not only due to the changes of the times, but also the result of the author’s active selection.It presents the internal struggle of Li Guangtian and the process of finding the way out.The author in the prose "green" depicts his lonely state, "tall" is his portrayal of spiritual dilemma.He felt in the closed building, opened a "window", and finally out of the tall building "."Green" reveals the clue and spirit core of Li Guangtian’s Prose Creation:a native born intellectuals is why trapped in "high-rise", and how to find a window, finally out of the "high-rise", step by step to society, putting themselves in the sea, into the sea, and to find out the realistic way.This paper, from the perspective of Li Guangtian’s prose creation as a whole, the different stages of prose characteristics and mentality of contrast and analysis during the interaction.Since the third stage of Li Guangtian’s prose is very little, and its style is not changed much in the middle.This paper to Li Guangtian’s early and middle stage of creation of prose is the focus of the research, the Early Prose mostly closed at "HualangJi", "YinghuJi" and "QuesuoJi" in, the prose of mid is to "Quanwai", " Huisheng" and "RibianSuibi" three album represented.This article can be divided into six parts:The first part is brief introduction of Li Guangtian, the investigation status and creation method of this article. Chapter one analysis two representational prose "green" and "shadow". "Green" reveals the psychological changes of Li Guangtian’s prose creation:from "stay in tall building alone" to "lean by the window alone" and face the society finally. Moreover, "Shadow" shows Li Guangtian searches for "SELF" in early phase of prose creation. In order to finds the reason why Li Guangtian "stay in tall building alone", Chapter two analysis Li Guangtian’s personal spiritual, prison record in early stage, and aesthetic choice. And also analysis their expression in his prose. He pours out his own mental dilemma, besides, Li Guangtian depicts a lot of intellectuals like him. In the third chapter, we analysis identity of "the native son" and characteristics of native people. We can see Li Guangtian’s complex feeling of the local from his "lean by window alone". The local is not only root of his spirit, but also the soil for the darkest fate. Chapter four mainly investigate the transmutation of his thought during exile of the war of resistance against Japan. We investigate the image features of people who is "beyond circle". He finds the way out of reality among the crowd finally after he walks out of "tall building" to face the wind and rain of age. We should transform not only people’s life but also their spirit. In the last chapter, we discuss Li Guangtian’s view for literacy form. Moreover, we tease the literacy form changes during different phase of his prose creation and find that the choose of different form is due to he has different literary concept of utility during different stage.
