Chinese traditional drama actor of Late Qing Dynasty is such a kind of special group, that they set the boss, actors, writers, reformers, marketers at a suit, which is different from former generation,and their hostess, whoredom, arty-farty, set all kinds of skills, which is different from the after generation. From the actors of the late Qing Dynasty, what we see is a unity of elegant and secular contradictory and a mixture of spirit of art and entertainment consumption. As there is a number of historical data in the Qing history notes, focused on the part about actor’s play of the historical data, this paper is trying to show the performance’s ecology of the late Qing Dynasty. There are four chapters:Chapter 1:A Essential of the historical data from the late Qing Dynasty notes. Through the analysis of the historical data it can be divided into four categories: Firstly, the Monographs which are recorded things of the operatic circle and the evaluate of actors and their performance; Secondly, travel notes which is used to guide the tourists; Thirdly, the scattered records in diaries, essays and poems; Fourthly, some essays published on the papers or magazines.Chapter 2:The actor’s family and their communication. What this chapter tries to explore are the information of the actor’s family and their communication in the history notes of Late Qing Dynasty, which can affect the way of the actor’s play. Families and marriages of the actors in Late Qing Dynasty gave them a kind of a "complex of forsaken" and made them play "occupation hereditary". Another form of the actors’performance using wine and songs developed "regular review" and "opera gathering", which are the two main forms of the communication between actors and intellectuals, making the story of "first lady" the most classic one.Chapter 3:The actors’ drama scripts and performance skills. To explore the drama scripts scattering in the history notes of Late Qing Dynasty, this chapter proved that the lack of scripts is not the real reason Kunqv defeated in "the battle between kunqv and local opera". And from the history notes, we can find that the actors in Late Qing Dynasty were always developing their performance skills all the time, and gradually they concluded their own performance styles, forming some performing schools of Peking Opera.Chapter 4:The management and marketing of the actors’ play. This chapter tries to contrast the differences between the house of pederasts and the theatrical troupes, by the analysis of the management of different opera troupes in the history notes Late Qing Dynasty. And we can discover the price of each actors’ performances in different periods. What’s more, there are some propaganda methods and marketing tactics of the actors’ play in the history notes, which made the actors become the super stars of the city.
