In vocabulary teaching, the teacher not only responsible for the teaching of vocabulary,rather than helping students to memory. Finding the right vocabulary teaching methods, to adapt to the present vocabulary teaching Chinese as a foreign language, can let the students to cognitive and memorizing vocabulary easily, that we should solve the problem. In this paper,Chinese advanced learners as the main research object, the proposed Chinese etymology analysis method is applied to vocabulary teaching of Chinese as a foreign language, we hope this will be helpful to vocabulary teaching Chinese as a foreign language. When using etymology analysis in vocabulary teaching, we research and other Chinese as a foreign language vocabulary teaching theory, and to absorb the advantages of other theoretical results,to enrich the etymology analysis on the foreign Chinese teaching theory construction. In this paper,a total of three chapters: the first chapter attempts to apply etymology analysis to single morpheme word with the teaching of words; The second chapter to the teacher in the classroom with etymology analysis need to be aware of the teaching principles and teaching skills; The third chapter mainly introduces the advantages of etymology analysis method applied in vocabulary teaching Chinese as a foreign language, and we some reflection on teaching practice.
