The Translated Report Of "the Factory Inspection Checklist"

This paper is a translated report.When I was in a company as an intership, the company assigned a translation tasks to me which named "the factory inspection checklist". Translation is a conscious purposeful communication behavior, Skopos Theory regards translation as a new kind of communication activities in which readers and customers’ requirements should be taken into consideration. "the aim of the translation" become an important factor for consideration. This report translation take Skopos Theory as the theoretical guidance, combined with the Chinese translation of the original Japanese texts, listing and analyzing a large number of translation cases, verifying that the three rules and translation brief can guides thetranslation for informational text.The report is divided into four parts. In the first chapter, it includes the research’s contents, the significance of this research and the view of today’s scholars. The second chapter is the theoretical overview of the development of Skopos Theory, three rules and ranslation brief. In the third chapter, the author discusses how the three rules and ranslation brief guiding the translation. The fourth chapter is the text of the conclusion. It summarized translation of inspiration for future translation activities with guidance.
