With the further deepening of cooperation in various fields between China and Belarus, more and more cooperation documents in political, economic, technological, cultural, transportation and other areas are signed between two countries. In this context, numerous types of construction projects flourish, especially in China and Belarus road projects in cooperation are also increasing, but engineering design standards between two countries sometimes are not totally similar. Besides, it applies Skopos theory to instruct translation from the translation techniques of words and discourse, summarizes and explains the mistakes found in proofreading.In addition, the report also evaluates the entire translation process and puts forward some topics which have nothing to do with language but are closely related to translation, such as translators and proofreaders’ professional qualities, corpus’ s use and significance.
