Application Of Flat Style In GUI Design

Flat design is a new interface design style, it is advocating simple, flattened presentation. Compared with the traditional flat style materialized style, remove shadows, gradients, perspective and other design elements, more concise, with a simple and straightforward way to show things in information and reduce cognitive impairment. In today’s fast-paced lifestyles of people in the background, the transmission of information needs to be more precise and fast, flat design just to meet this. With today’s technology, the unprecedented development of social sciences, flat design styles appear in various types of designs. GUI(Graphical User Interface) with intelligent devices in recent years, with the rapid development, which has a high degree of attraction and pleasure, to arouse the desire to interact with the user. Flat style plays an increasingly important role in the GUI design, excellent flat applications can be delivered to the information people have a better understanding.The ultimate goal of GUI design is flat style graphics by flattening effective transmission of information, in order to attract the user’s attention, using rich vibrant colors, reasonable layout, appropriate font makes the association, causing emotional activity, thus give the user a smooth experience. GUI design for a range of operating systems analysis conducted in this article, allows flat design exhibit sensory elegant simplicity, while spiritually enrich themselves. This paper focuses on the flat style GUI application, the relevant theoretical knowledge through research, and practical examples of its application analysis methods to guide the design practice.
