A Comparative Study Of Culture Soft Power Construction Between China And The United States

As the largest developed and developing countries in the world, China and the United States have the value of a comparative in politics, economy and culture. Under the background of economic globalization, exchanges and communications among different countries have become more and more frequent and huge culture collisions inevitable happened. Culture soft power is gaining importance in competition among Great Powers. As the theory of soft power matures, it has become strategic choice between China and The United States. Basing on different stage of Historic Development, regime and culture traditions, the two countries show a significantly discrepancy. For that reason, in this text I try to use the form of comparison to analyze the advantage of culture soft power between these two countries, in order to find out the truth of culture soft power.The conception of soft power was spreading so fast, but it original meaning was twisted, even complete changed. the culture soft power actually is part of soft power. For sake of learning vantage of others, shape in the competition, we should improve our transparency of policy, accelerate the construction of culture soft power. Even so, we have to admit the shortage of our strength. Therefore, we should take advantage of the Chinese traditional culture and carry forward the spirit of innovation, so as to promote our culture soft power.
