A Preliminary Study On The Status And Protection Of Nanhe River Basin Ceramic Remains In Jingdezhen City

Jingdezhen, a city with a long history of porcelain-making is well-known both at home and abroad. Porcelain treasures, fired in Jingdezhen, is the rare materials for the research of the history of ceramic export in our country. Both east and south rivers are the sources of ChangJiang. Yaoli, JingdeZhen and kaolin mountain are associated with east river which are the venation of glaze, kaolin and jingdezhen porcelain. East river has been attracting the worldwide attention, and is known as "the source of porcelain" in recent years. However, south river near the Hutian kiln is neglected. Recent archaeological survey, winding for several kilometers in south river, there are there are hundreds of ruins of ancient ceramics accumulating. These ancient ceramics has been traced back to the tang dynasty period, beginning to burn s untapped land or even earlier.According to the existing data, south river is not only the birthplace of jingdezhen porcelain industry, but also is extremely important ceramic production area during the Song and Yuan dynasties. Its products is on sell At home and abroad. How about the development of these kilns now? So it is very important to study on the development of kiln and the protection of kiln near south river.This thesis gives a general introduction to the background, current situation and protection of these kiln. It has utilized the methods of field investigation and sorting of archaeology and empirical research method combining with history literature and archaeological data. Beside, based on the science of cultural relics and sociology reveals the research significance on the present situation of the kiln and the protection of the kiln nearby jingdezhen south river.By the survey about several ancient kiln sites, the topic describes the present situation of the kiln, and explain it from the different angle of appearance, geographic location and site. Except the famous kiln, such as hutian kiln, liujiawan kiln, nanshijie kiln and so on, our have roughly recorded lantian kiln, jinkeng kiln and Ann kiln-undeveloped, which were discorded by archaeologist. And comparing with homologous kiln, we have concluded the advantage and lack of the protection of jingdezhen kiln.According to investigation, we found that hutian kiln, lantian kiln and jinkeng kiln protected by varying degrees and different ways of protection are in a good condition. Because there was not any measures having been taken, nanshijie kiln,liujiawan kiln and lingan kiln were serious destroyed.Besides, the policy, law and practical problem of the ruins of ancient kiln were discussed and searched, and we offer some advices for protecting the ancient kiln located in Jingdezhen.
