The trend of world integration and economy globalization peeped after 1950 s. At the same time, great changes took place in the category of translation theory research,and scholars took full consideration of cultural factors from the initial code switching.All the countries are paying more attention to cultural phenomena which can reflect the national characteristics, and trying to make them become the national logos. As an important part of culture, language is the carrier of culture and manifestation of culture as well. With the rapid development of global integration, news has become the main medium that people use to know about the world.This report is based on the translation of BBC news texts. This paper stated the characteristics of English news texts, took complex sentence reconstruction in Chinese translation of English news texts as the starting point, applied sequential method and reverse order method as the translation strategy, combined with concrete examples to analyze the problems, and finally presented them in this report. This report introduced the source, date and brief introduction of the selected news texts, made a detail description of the translation process, which included preparation stage before translation, procedure of the translation work and revision stage. Finally, by analyzing cases, it sorted out the difficulties in the process of translation, and introduced in detail the effect of the application of sequential method and reverse order method in translation practice. In addition, this report also concluded the enlightenment learnt from the translation practice, hoping it will provide some help and reference for the translation of such texts.
