Research Report On The Translation Of Terrestrial Animal Health Code (Section One Chapter One And Six)

This is a translation project report on Terrestrial Animal Health Code (Section One Chapter One and Six), which is published by OIE and specifies the imperative measures for Veterinary Authorities of exportation and importation countries to take in order to prevent the spreading of infectious agents, and to ensure the safety of animals in international trade. The report consists of four parts. The first part gives a brief introduction to the project, including its background,and the requirements of the entrusting party; The second describes the translation process. Then the third part, being the very core, makes an overview of translation difficulties, by the means of case studying and puts up with feasible strategies and methods. Finally, the report concludes inspiration and lessons drawn from the project and some unsolved problems.
