A Study On Language Arts Of Hunan Changde Gushu

Changde Gushu,which takes drum as a main accompaniment and combines with rap,is a Chinese folk art with long tradition and splendid culture in Changde District.There are a few current studies of Changde Gushu and,most of which,however,mainly concentrate on the performance form and the inheritance of quyi,instead of the language itself.This paper makes a comprehensive analysis of the language art of Changde Gushu from the perspective of linguistics on the basis of real language materials, thus improving on the previous studies on this topic.The paper includes the following parts:First,an introduction to the geography humanities of Changde region and the historical development of Changde Gushu;a literature review of the research of Changde Gushu; an introduction to the contents and significance of this study;an explanation of the research method and the citation source in this paper.Second,art characteristics of the language of Changde Gushu.This part explores the popularity,local flavor,figurativeness and interest of the language of Changde Gushu through the medium of authentic language materials.Third,the characteristics of the dialect used in Changde Gushu.This part mainly describes,explains and analyzes the dialect in Changde Gushu from the angle of phonetics and diction.It focus on the analysis of the rhyme and the dialect nouns,verbs and adjectives mainly used in the language of Changde Gushu.Meanwhile,it also explores the artistic appeal of dialect elements.Fourth,the stage artistry of Changde Gu Shu’s language.By making a comparative analysis of the differences between the stage language,oral language and script,this parts concludes that the language of Changde Gushu presents three artistic features:“elegance”,“popularity”and“flexibility” in stage performance.“Elegance”refers to the usage of formal words;“popularity”means being colloquial and easy to understand;“flexibility”manifests itself as the dynamic and flexibility of language.Fifth,this part summarizes the main ideas and innovation,and points out shortcomings of this study as well as the issue continues to be studied.
