In modern times,the serious and critical problem of rural land is the consensus of the community.The severity of the problem of China’s land is also not under the circumstances before the French and Russia Revolution.In 1936, Mao Zedong in Yan’an answered those questions that American Edgar Snow raised about the revolution,farmers and land issues:"Who won the farmers will win the whole Chinese nation;and who settled the land issues will win the farmers loyalties.Mao accurate summary of this discussion of land issues played important role in Chinese revolution.After the founding of New China, the Communist Party of China continued to carry out land reform movement in the newly liberated areas including Central, East, South and Southwest China, which relied on state power to overturn the political and economic structure of long-term continuation of two thousand years in China’s rural areas, and thus helped the majority of farmers achieved a true "Land to the Tiller."Changsha County is located in periphery Changsha, the capital of Hunan Province for hundreds of years, has always been a major grain-producing counties. After the peaceful liberation, Changsha County started the land reform under the leadership of party committees at all levels. From 1950 to 1952, Changsha County gained successful completion of the land reform through premise preparation(bandits hegemony, charging back and rent reduction, and cadre training), carrying out a comprehensive land reform(rooted in series, to mobilize the masses, class division, expropriation of land and other property confiscated, distribution of land and other fruits of the struggle, land reform, and insurance of the right to review). With the successful completion of Changsha County land reform, social change is also quietly appeared in Changsha County. Establishment of the People’s Government, the construction of farmers’ associations ensured the smooth completion of land reform, the successful completion of the land reform was also had great impact on class structure and economic development in Changsha County, while also indirectly affect the occurs of social change in Changsha County.Changsha County accomplished a huge achievement in land reform, realized the land system transition from land ownership to farmers as the landlord land ownership and thus farmers truly become masters of the land, which had huge and far-reaching impact on the development and economic recovery of Changsha County and of vital significance in historical status. However, due to a single working-style, the lack of cadres, anxious for success and other reasons, Changsha County land reform exists many problems. This paper attempts to maximize the reduction in Changsha County land reform and to conduct some research and exploration on the basis of social changes occurred in Changsha County at the same period. At the same time, it will be based on the material collection and interspersed with some thoughts and reflection concerning certain problems in Changsha County land reform in the text in order to restore a more real history of land reform in Changsha County.
