| As a symbol of soft power, culture have drawn the attention of the most countries especially developed countries, and its role can not be ignored now. Academic circles are paying much attention to the industry analysis and research. Many qualitative analysis on the cultural industries, and use a relevant model for quantitative analysis of the research is less. The Paper use a panel data of 2008-2012, using super efficiency DEA- Malmquist model to examine the efficiency for cultural industries in Chongqing. Efficiency can reflect a more intuitive index of industrial development, the study of cultural industries efficiency can reflect the overall development of cultural industries of resource utilization and output effect, we can prove the efficiency of our cultural industries from the empirical results, it makes a big difference.This paper combed the related theory of cultural industry, and used the descriptive and statistical method, an overview of the status quo of Chongqing cultural resources, the actuality, input, output and development situation. Then building the index system for the use of DEA-Malmquist index methods, respectively from two aspects of static and dynamic analysis of Chongqing in 2008-2012 cultural industries efficiency: static aspect, mainly analyzes the technical efficiency, pure technical efficiency and scale efficiency; Dynamic aspects, mainly analyzes the technological progress index, the index of, scale efficiency,index pure technical efficiency and technical efficiency. The empirical results are as follows:(1)The cultural industries of Chongqing efficiency is not high, and ranks below the middle, there is a certain gap with the optimum level.(2) DEA analysis shows the efficiency of the cultural industries in Chongqing isn’t effective. Malmquist analysis shows technical level of the cultural industry in Chongqing is in a recession. Therefore, we should improve technical level of the cultural industries, increase the technological application and improve efficiency.(3) In order to improve the efficiency of the cultural industry, Chongqing should adjust the inputs and outputs from the structure, the main aspects are to reduce redundant investment and increase output.(4) There is a significant positive correlation among the level and efficiency of economic development of the cultural industry, education, government support and a culture of consumer demand, where government support is a core factor in the development stage, the impact of cultural industries. |
