In the modern information society,the cultural media industry,as an integrated industry of the media industry and the cultural industry,is of great significance to meet people’s cultural,information and entertainment needs and to promote economic and social development.With the support of relevant national policies,in the process of information technology upgrading,the cultural media industry has become a new sunrise industry.This paper focuses on the operating efficiency of listed cultural media companies,pays attention to their development status and changes,and makes an outlook on how Chinese cultural media industry can seize new opportunities,respond to new challenges,and show new achievements in the new era.First of all,this paper takes the theory of scale economy,transaction cost and efficiency as the theoretical basis,takes the super-efficiency SBM-Malmquist model as the research method,and constructs the index system through the entropy weight method.42 listed cultural media companies in continuous operation were taken as research samples,and the static and dynamic operating efficiency and decomposition results of listed cultural media companies were measured,and the following research conclusions were obtained: From the perspective of the three sub-sectors of cultural media The overall performance of the overall efficiency is the worst,mainly because the overall scale efficiency of the companies in the industry is low,and the average value of pure technical efficiency of the companies in the industry has not reached the effective value;In the press and publishing industry,although the average value of pure technical efficiency of companies in the industry has reached an effective value,the overall scale efficiency of companies in the industry is low;When the effective value is reached,many companies achieve increasing returns to scale.On the whole,the overall static operating efficiency level of my country’s cultural media listed companies is not high,and there are not many companies whose pure technical efficiency and scale efficiency reach effective values,but the overall dynamic operating efficiency level is relatively high.The low level of static operating efficiency is mainly attributable to the low level of scale efficiency and few companies that achieve increasing returns to scale.This shows that the operational efficiency level of my country’s cultural media industry is improving year by year,but there is still a lot of room for improvement in technical training,business management,and operational levels,and listed companies in the industry generally have redundant production scales.,it is necessary to streamline the scale and reduce the pressure on the company’s employment costs and management costs.According to the research results,this paper puts forward the following countermeasures and suggestions: 1.For cultural media companies with low purely technical efficiency,they should improve their management level and resource utilization;for cultural media companies with low scale efficiency and diminishing returns to scale,the production scale of low-efficiency products should be reduced;2.Streamlining and optimizing the scale of enterprises in the three sub-industries of the cultural media industry,and improving the organizational management,production technology and other aspects of news and publishing companies;3.Optimizing talents in the cultural media industry 4.Relevant government departments should adopt a more inclusive attitude to review the products produced by listed cultural media companies;promote the development of advanced technologies at the national level.introduction and application. |
