| OECD Reviews of Health Systems: Switzerland 2011 is a reporting material regarding to the Swiss health system, which was undertaken jointly by the OECD Secretariat and the World Health Organization(WHO) at the request of the Swiss Federal Office of Public Health. With authoritative content and strong readability, it involves the latest investigative information in various aspects for Swiss Health Care. The Chapter Four of this Review is selected as translation material and translation process is regarded as the study object. Under the guidance of Typology Theory put forward by Peter Newmark, the translator applies communicative translation strategy into translation from different levels including words, sentences and language styles after ensuring the source text belongs to informative text. Meanwhile, the translator also utilizes many translation methods and techniques to make a deeper research and finally summarizes the lessons from this translation. Translator has studied the guiding significance of the Theory of Peter Newmark and his translation strategies in translating reviews, and hoped that it could provide some instructive references for the following translators in translating this kind of materials.The translation report includes four chapters.
