Chinese characters teaching in teaching Chinese as a foreign language is an important part of the Chinese characters for foreign students in central Asia,compared with other parts of the learning in teaching Chinese as a foreign language,is the difficulty in the difficulty, from reading to writing, all central Asian students feel confused, so much so that many students lost their interest in learning Chinese.Therefore, the paper on the basis of previous theoretical research, using the questionnaire, testing, interview, comparative research methods, such as in xinjiang normal university foreign language teachers and students as the research object, the central Asian students in primary stage of the investigation of the status quo of the teaching and learning of Chinese characters, and the overall analysis of the results of the survey, find out the problems existing in the teaching and learning, and gives targeted Suggestions.Paper is divided into three parts:The first part is the introduction.Narrates the research background, research purpose and meaning, related research review and research design.Review section includes foreign Chinese character teaching and the contents of the two aspects of Chinese character learning.Study design elaborated the choice of the respondents, the concrete research methods and the implement process of investigation.In research methods gave the teacher questionnaire and student questionnaire, survey tools such as test preparation.The second part is the central Asian students in primary stage of Chinese teaching and learning situation investigation and analysis.Mainly includes the following content: 1, the students in studying Chinese characters.Including the background of the investigated students’ Chinese learning, students Chinese characters learning motivation, learning attitude of Chinese characters, the characters of learning strategies and students the knowledge of Chinese characters.2, teachers,Chinese characters teaching.Including examines the background knowledge of teacher’s teaching, teachers, Chinese characters teaching attitude, teachers teaching method of strategy of Chinese characters, the knowledge of Chinese characters and Chinese characters teaching theory knowledge and teachers teaching evaluation of Chinese characters.The third part is the central Asian students the problems existing in the primary stage of Chinese characters teaching and learning and teaching advice.This paperexpounds the existing in Chinese teaching and learning of students interest in learning Chinese characters gradually;Chinese character teaching attaches great importance to the degree of insufficient;Language differences;Student to teacher’s dependence is too high;In view of the characters of assignments, exams, practice form a single;Students basic knowledge of Chinese characters to master is not very ideal;The teaching and learning methods, strategies, single;Translation software and pinyin over reliance on tools such as;Chinese teacher’s professional theory and knowledge level needs to improve.Is proposed according to the students’ learning motivation and purpose divide into classes, courses;Establishing scientific and standard Chinese characters teaching outline;Open special characters required course,add calligraphy, computer courses;Select or write appropriate, targeted Chinese character teaching material;Developing students’ consciousness of Chinese characters and Chinese characters learning habit;Using a variety of suitable teaching methods;In the form of various forms of class, interesting knowledge of Chinese characters, to improve students’ interest in learning;In the form of exam, competition promote learning Chinese characters;Set up Chinese character;Organize regular Chinese characters teaching research activity;Strengthen the training of the teachers professional teaching Suggestions.
