| Entering the 21 st century, Xinjiang’s development gradually integrated into the world, especially in terms of education. Therefore, a large number of international academic conferences have been held in Xinjiang. Conference interpreting serves as the window and bridge for these conferences. Simultaneous interpretation, as one form of conference interpreting, has been widely used in international conferences.In addition, this simultaneous interpretation for “multi-culture and educationâ€international symposium possesses such typical characteristics of conference interpretation that this article will choose this case as example to write practice report.This report is based on Nida’s dynamic equivalence translation theory to guide this simultaneous interpretation and rethink the mistakes and problems made in it.This report consists of five parts. The first part gives introduction of the major tasks. The second part is about preparations. The third part is theory support for this report, which introduces the dynamic equivalence theory and its study focus. The fourth part is the main body of this report, which illustrates problems and solutions during the task. The last part shows what lessons were drawn from the whole interpreting practice. |
