A Study On Linguistic Features Of Huang Fenglong’s Play

This paper aims at studying and analysis Huang Fenglong’s works in the 1950s and 1960s, from the perpective of linguistics, and get the unique language features of Huang Fenglong’s works.Huang Fenglong is a backbone force of the Chinese Korean playwright. He is the representative of Yanbian Korean drama arts. He was served as vice-chairman of China Dramatists Association Yanbian Branch and vice-president of Yanbian Drama Group. Since the founding of the nation, he created classic masterpieces one after another with the vivid language of the masses of the people. Theses works can not only reflect the Chinses Korean’s social reality at that time, but also taste the strong appreciation of life and Chinese Korean’s national style.In a play, an important technique of figuring leading characters’s modal personality are language and action. Language is essential for action. Without the language, action don’t make much sence or make no sence. Therefore, the language of the drama needs to be vivid and much energetic, which lines are carefully chosen. Huang Fenglong’s playworks have achieved remarkable results in this respect. His language is full of personality and has very strong expressive force. It also is able to performance the theme actively which results in contributing to deepen the typical image of the characters and outline the personality of character effectively.Throughout the previous research results, most of the studies on Huang Fenglong’s works are only limited in terms of literary study. And so far, the research on the Chinese Korean literary works from the linguistic point of view are only limited in novel, prose and poetry. Therefore, it is very important to study the works of Chinese Korean drama from the perspective of linguistics.In this paper, selects Huang Fenglong’s works in 1950s and 1960s as corpus of study, using statistical and comparative analysis and research methods, in order to study the language features of Huang Fenglong’s works.This thesis is composed of four parts.The first part is an introduction, which describes the research purpose of the thesis, the previous researches on Huang Fenglong’s works and the studies on Chinese Korean’s literature from the linguistic point of view, as well as the research methods of this paper.The second part is research on the vocabularies of the drama lines. It was divided into the part of speech, the origin of the vocabulary and consolidated combination of words. By using the statistical and comparative methods, it reveals his personal language charaters.The third part analyses the morphology features of the words in the works. It is divided into nominal and predicate morphology.The fourth part is the study of phonetic features which divieded into vocavularies and morphology.The fifth part is conclusion. It is the summary and conclusion of the results obtained in the above analysis of the language features of Huang Fenglong’s works.
