Xie Chuan Final Propose For Learning Yuanming

Strictly speaking, the poetry "You Xie Chuan" with its preface which has made by Tao Yuanming is the only one that depicted landscape in his anthology. This article is based on research of the thoughts、feelings and spiritual connotation of the poem. Meanwhile, the author collected a large number of poetries associated with "You Xie Chuan", analyzed and generalized all of them. In fact, all of such poetries have a common psychological characteristic——they keen to visit Xiechuan both because of the admiration of Tao Yuanming, however, each emerged its uniqueness owing to the poets’ different life experiences in the distinct times. The article aimed to explain Tao Yuanming’s sightseeing of Xiechuan had influenced the scholars after the Tang Dynasty. How did Xiechuan become a cultural phenomenon? It revealed the complex process that Tao Yuanming, who was considered as Chinese cultural symbols, was accepted by the scholars of later ages. The process could be considered as reading the poem,then, pondered and created a new poem(expounded), finally made an impression of it.
