Over the past twenty years, more and more attention to the colloquial expressionsstudies. However until now for use, the connotation and extension of the idioms didnot form a unified conclusion. About the classification method of slang and idioms isalso debated. The WenDuanzheng editor in the use of research and exploration of theproverb,"Chinese vocabulary learning" and other books in the point of view, think"this proverb is created for the masses in the Chinese vocabulary, and spokenlanguage among the masses, oral sex and popularity of language unit". Language,especially dialect is a regional cultural product. Colloquial dialect and local culture isthe mutual promotion of interaction between folk customs, culture, folk customsreflected in language, language and reaction to cultural folk influence people’sbehavior. This article through to the thousands of common XiShui dialect words ofinductive analysis, to spy out XiShui local cultural customs.Analysis of common vulgar words, colloquial dialect in Xishui in this paper,firstly the collected sayings into vulgar words, idioms, proverbs, Xiehouyu fourcategories, and then each class then analyzed separately. The first chapter from theangle of the vulgar word part of speech is divided into: noun, verb, adjective, adverb.The first section of the second chapter according to the content of the proverb isdivided into the farmer’s proverbs, proverbs, proverbs, allegorical or meteorologicalknowledge of life proverb; second chapter second section from semantic expressionlevels to idioms classified as: simple type, extended type, metaphor, metonymy,exaggeration, homophonic type six; the second chapter third section from semanticcharacteristics and composition of view of Xiehouyu divided into two types by typeand pun. The third chapter analyzes several rhetorical features of common Xishuidialect vulgar words. The fourth chapter from the vulgar words in Xishui dialect andlocal customs, rites of watching season practices, cult, plain vulgar, diet culture,honest trade, gradually faded out the historical stage of the proverb and culture.
