| Resilience is a hot issue in the research field of positive psychology, and it has a very important role for the individual to maintain physical and mental health. Based on the employment problems which the university graduates are facing (such as employment anxiety), the current study was to investigate the feature of social support, resilience and employment anxiety for the university graduates, and analyzed the internal relations among them. Consequently, this study provided some theoretical foundations and methods to relieve the college graduates’ employment anxiety.To explore the college graduates’ social support, resilience and employment anxiety, this study had used Resilience scale, Social support rating scale, College graduates’ anxiety questionnaire and self-designed demographic variables questionnaires to survey308college graduates in Hunan province were measured. Then, using independent samplet test, analysis of variance, correlation analysis and stepwise regression analysis and other statistical methods, this study surveyed their features, and further examined the moderating role of resilience on the relationship between social support and employment anxiety.These results found that the college graduates’ social support, resilience and employment anxiety had been influenced by the demographic statistics. Specially, female college graduates had less confidence for employment than male college graduates, and the liberal arts graduates’employment confidence also was less than the science and engineering graduates. Moreover, female college graduates had a higher resilience and social support than male college graduates, and the college graduates who is One-child were higher than that is non-only child, and the rural area graduates were higher than the urban area graduates. Meantime, there is a significant positive correlation between social support and resilience, and both of them had a significant negative correlation with employment anxiety. Additionally, Resilience partially mediated the relationship between social support and employment anxiety.The graduated students’social support, resilience and employment anxiety were influenced by the demographic statistics, and the good social support system and resilience level could relieve the employment. |
