Research On The Relationship Between College Students' Social Support, Psychological Resilience And Mobile Phone Dependence

Due to the rapid development of mobile multimedia technology and the popularity of smart mobile devices,mobile phones have become a necessary part of college students.The problem of cell phone addiction has also become an important problem for college students and researchers.Therefore,this study aimed to investigate the status of College Students' social support,mental resilience and mobile phone addiction.And further explore the mediating role of mental resilience on the relationship between social support and mobile phone addiction.829 college students were investigated by using the mobile phone addiction index scale,the social support questionnaire and the Mental Resilience Scale.429 boys and 400 girls;home address for the town of 485,344 people in the country;professional 467 science and engineering,humanities 362;freshman sophomore student 205 people,204 people,Junior 218 people,202 senior students from single parent families;72,students the non single parent family of 757 people;the only child of 339 people,490 were non only child.Results indicated that:1.college students mobile phone addiction level is higher,at the same time,social support and mental resilience level are both high;2.the relationship between social support and the mobile phone addiction was negatively correlated;there was a significant positive correlation between social support and mental resilience;mental resilience and mobile phone addiction had significant negative correlation also;3.social support can significantly negatively predictive mobile phone addiction,and social support can significantly positively predict mental resilience,at last resilience can negatively predict mobile phone addiction;4.the mediating effect analysis showed that mental resilience has a total mediating effect on the relationship of social support and mobile phone addiction.College Students' social support can not only directly affect their degree of mobile phone addiction,but also affect the mobile phone addiction through the mediating effect of resilience.
