Survey And Analysis Of Present Situation Of Chinese Studies At Jawaharlal Nehru University

China and India both are one of the oldest Civilization of the world and both are having long history of cultural exchanges. As the relation between two countries developed, importance of Chinese studies in India has increased and Chinese Teaching developed rapidly. But still Chinese Academic Research is very less in India.Object of Study: Because the Jawaharlal Nehru University is in India and even in the world is a well-known school, so taking Nehru University as an example, the Chinese department of Chinese undergraduates as the object, the Jawaharlal Nehru University Chinese teaching present situation investigation and research, has a strong representative.Purpose and significance of research:First, Analysis of present situation of Chinese language teaching in department of Chinese language and literature in Jawaharlal Nehru university will be the reference for other Chinese teaching institutions;Second, based on the investigation and analysis, in view of the Chinese department of Jawaharlal Nehru university courses, teachers, teaching methods, some of the deficiencies in school policies, put forward reasonable and constructive Suggestions, so as to improve further in every aspect;Third, This is not only beneficial to further push forward the development of Chinese teaching in India, but also for long-term friendly relations between the two countries, the development of education and cultural exchange, China and India to provide a better environment.Therefore Chinese learning Indian scholars should use the opportunity of this “Chinese hot” to speed up in the research of Chinese language teaching and study of all aspects related to Chinese, will get the better development of Chinese teaching, and to promote the healthy development of china-India relationship between the two countries with solid foundation.
