Although the trend that people in the world is getting higher with development of China’s economy and technology, there are much space the teaching of Chinese as a foreign language left. Many relevant teaching material and teaching methods is preparing to adapt to different level object. In the teaching of Chinese as a foreign language, children’s enlightenment stage is particularly important for their future study. Chinese picture book tells the story and festival and customs by its way, avoiding they searching complicated foreign study data. Through the study of local Chinese picture book, they can feel how culture of China live in daily life. Chinese picture book as a form of children’s literature, not only can be used to teach Chinese in local China, but also can be used for oversea Chinese class teaching. Local Chinese picture book through the picture information, wake up the secret emotion hidden deeply in one’s heart and stimulate person’s potential imagination, comparing with Chinese characters they are more rich in sense.The writer will talk about the teaching of Chinese picture book based on the study of Georgia’s Confucius class of primary and middle school students. The writer will study and make use of Chinese picture book to carry on all kinds of linguistic cultural and art activities, combining with the characteristic Georgia’s students and the aim of Chinese class. The purpose is to provide more practical teaching achievement for oversea Chinese class by improving teaching methods and the acceptance level of Chinese literature in oversea middle school students. This research aims to provide more material and the teaching results for or teaching Chinese as a foreign language in the future.
