| This paper’s research object mainly based on the nine movies written and directed by Patrick Kong, from the characters, themes, artistic features three aspects to explore Patrick Kong’s unique charm of love movies. This paper reviews Patrick Kong’s contribution to the love of film creation and interpretation of the real value of their romance.The introduction part mainly introduces the creation of Patrick Kong love film and the research status of the romance.The first chapter mainly talks about the tragedy of love in the movie of Patrick Kong characters, including "self destruction of the love game" and "for the love of the injury of love to the two types of characters.
