Study On The Philosophy Section Category Of Chinese Ancient Books

Zhu-zi’s record, in the part of Yi Wen Record of the History of the Former Han Dynasty, which is the summary of Pre-Qin’s academic achievements in once time. Zhu-zi’s record, which looked upon philosophy section(A Net Section), is divided into ten parts based on the differences of academic theories between the Scholar works. After Eastern Han Dynasty, due to the weakened Scholarship and the disappearances of literary works, it was appeared the trence that Zhu-zi’s record got together with Bing Shu(Art of war), Shu Shu(Mathematics) and Fang Ji(stratagem). This kind of trence was officially established a philosophy section in Categorization of Classical works of Record of Sui Dynasty at the time of Early Tang Dynasty. This philosophy section is included of Scholars’ books and applied technology books. Following this situation, the category of this philosophy section was changed into complicated. Finally, through this kind of change for the category by Song, Yuan and Ming Dynasty, this philosophy section was formed a thrible classification systerm which including everything inside, at the time of Early Qing Dynasty when the Catalogue of Imperial Collection of Four was published. This kind of change could be intrinsically linked with the trence of academic development, the dynamic status of books and the development of private establishment books.This paper is committed to outline this change by being reviewed situations of this philosophy section’s classification in past dynasties’bibliography. The miscellaneous books were belonging to the Scholar works, but they became complex and blended in this changing constantly.Third chapter.A research for the reasons of this kind of changing.The trence of academic development became the main frame of this philosophy section’s category. The dynamic status of books became the basis of this philosophy section’s category. The private establishment books were promoting the philosophy section’s category by their flexibility and stressing on themselves instrumental.
