In China, the formation and development of the "aesthetics" as anindependent subject is inseparable from the Western aesthetic achievementsreference and impact. The Western aesthetics disciplines laid in the name of the"aesthetic", furthermore give the modern form of aesthetic disciplines in theformation and methodologies, concepts, terminology and category of the discoursesystem valuable resources in china. Therefore, clearing up the important concept ofmodern Chinese aesthetics and category, to show as these important areas of thediscipline cornerstone in the evolution of Chinese aesthetics, the work will providesome inspiration and reference to the construction of the system of modern aesthetictheory.This article selects "comedy" which is the aesthetic category as the researchobject, carries on combing and interpretation this evolution."Comedy" category isone of the important categories of western aesthetic history, produced early andmany famous scholars made clarifying.(clarified by many famous scholars) Chinaintroduced the "comedy" category has been100years,(The "comedy" category hasbeen introduced to China for more than100years.)The Chinese aesthetics scholarsalso made its own interpretation and contribution to the "Comedy" category. Thispaper proposed since the20th century, China "comedy" areas of origin, receive anddisseminate process to clearing up, This paper proposed to clear up the origin,receive and disseminate process of China "comedy" since the20thcentury.highlighting the uniqueness of each theory, in order to show the basicoutlook of the theoretical research of Chinese comedy.
