With the deep development of economic globalization and the rapid innovation of science and technology, "Economic culturalization" and "Cultural economization" has become the popular trend of world economic development. Thus, enhancing the cultural soft power gradually has become a important strategy for every country to improve the comprehensive national strength and international influence. Movie and TV are important parts of cultural industry, and always be regarded as the important growth point of cultural industry.With the rapid development of Movie & TV trade, The Movie & TV trade volume has claimed an ever-growing share in the quantum of international trade during the recent years. However, in the comparison of Movie & TV trade status between South-korea and China, China lags far behind South Korea in Movie & TV trade. South Korean film and television has increasingly become one part of Chinese Daily needs.On the theory basis of cultural trade and Movie & TV Trade development reality of the two countries, this article firstly conducts qualitative and quantitative analysis of China-Korea Movie & TV Trade from three dimensions of development status, industry policy and industry competitiveness. Then, the article analyzes the deep reason of the China-Korea Movie & TV Trade Imbalance:(1) The lack of awareness and positioning of cultural industry (2) Insufficient government support (3) Weak industry value chain and industry collectivization (4) The lack of internationally competitive Movie & TV brands.At last, this article puts forward some suggestions for the development of Chinese Movie & TV trade industry:China should (1) set up and develop the awareness of cultural industry from the perspective of cultural resources conservation and cultural product innovation (2) attache great importance to the government functions (policy design, legislation, promote efficiency, cultural system reform, financial support, professionals training & introduction) on the overall management of cultural industry and cultural trade (3) advance the industrial transformation and realize the large-scale, all-round and group development strategy of Movie & TV industry (4) enhance competition in the international market of Movie & TV industry by designing Movie & TV product with core competitiveness, exploiting local markets and strengthening international marketing using brand strategies.
