| The Song Dynasty temple lending industry is the research object in this dissertation. In the history of the monastery lending industry, the Song Dynasty was a very prosperous period. This paper attempts on the basis of the existing literature and studies, from the perspective of development and social participation of Buddhist theory to explore the temple Song lending industry and the different nature from the previous generation in difference from the view of economic reason.Chapter â… describes environmental background and the prosperity situation of monastery lending industry in the Song Dynasty. Development of lending industry is effected deeply by the booming economy in Song Dynasty. The economic vitality will undoubtedly effects the depth of monastery lending industry in social participation and development of Buddhism itself.Chapter â…¡ explains the issue from the perspective of wealth, and to explore the evolution of the view of wealth accumulation in Buddhist monasteries lending practices.
