A lot of people love thedocumentary which is a significant part of films.The author selects a documentary The Last Mountain as practical interpretation material.This video mainly focuses on the environmental problem of Appalachia in West Virginia,United States. The mountains, located in this state, are abundant in coal and are also the keyareas which attract the coal companies. To maximize the profits, the coal companiesoverdeveloped these mountains and lead to the extreme destruction to the environment.Furthermore, it produced toxin substances in the washing coal process, such as dusts andheavy metals, which seriously endangered the health of natives. This topic is related not onlyto us, but also to the posterity’s future.
