A Comparative Study On The Tombs Between The Southern And Northern Areas During The Wei And Jin Dynasties

The thesis aims to research tombs which are located in Jiankang and Luoyangareas from the Wei to Jin Dynasty. Divide the structure of tombs and burial objectswith the typology method of archaeology, and classify them in stages. By comparison,we can find the differences and similarities between them. Comparing the similaritiesand differences, analyzing the reasons that lead to such differences with literaturedatas.According to the study, the knowledge of Jinzhi has been learned.The main body of the thesis contains four chapters.The first chapter: Preface.Summarize the statues and research status about The Wei and Jin Dynastiestombs of Luoyang and Jiankang,get results of previous studies and problems,thenoutline the times and eras of The Wei and Jin Dynasties tombs,the value and themethod of the thesisThe second chapter: The analysis of the shapes of Luoyang tombs from Wei toJin dynasty.First, we divide the structure of Luoyang tombs. and then analyze the burialthings with the typology method of archaeology. Last, combine them and establish thestages of tombs, getting the main features between the shapes of tombs and the burialthings.The third chapter: The analysis of the shapes of Jiankang tombs from Wei to JindynastyFirst of all, we divide the structure of Jiankang tombs. and then analyze theburial objects with the typology method of archaeology. Last, combine them andestablis the stages of tombs, getting the main features between the shapes of tombsand the burial things.The fourth chapter: The comparative analysis of the shapes of tombs and theburial objects.Based on the above-mentioned research, we can compare the two places by comparative analysis of the shapes of tombs and the burial objects and analyse thereasons which lead to similarities and differences.Meanwhile, we can achieve themain features of Jinzhi in burial shape and burial things.The conclusionSummarize the main viewpoints and some limitations.
