Ma’anshan is only40kilometers from Nanjing. Accordingly, as a place next to the ancient capital of Six Dynasties, there is a huge amount of Six Dynasties’tombs. In recent years, with the rapid economic development, province, city and county, these three levels of cultural relics department, were working with the city construction, and they had excavated roughly200tombs in this area. This essay stared from the Six Dynasties tombs and the evolution of the development of Ma’anshan’s typical green porcelain, and is working on the evolution law of the Six Dynasties tombs. After that, it will preliminary analyze and research Ma’anshan areas. It will take the results as the standard, to confirm the sequences of all the Six Dynasties tombs established in Ma’anshan areas, and to determine the tombs’dating and make up the history of history by analyzing the unearthed Annals brick, wood thorn wood, and further, to reveal the development of the social economy and the culture of the Six Dynasties in Ma’anshan areas. The essay is divided into five parts. The first part is the historical geography of Ma’anshan areas and the academic background of Six Dynasties tombs research. Firstly, it introduced the Ma’anshan areas on history and geography; secondly, it summarized the current academic research on the basic situation of the Six Dynasties tomb in Ma’anshan areas and other regions of China, it affirmed the achievements, and also pointed out the shortcomings of the study. Finally, it introduced the purpose of this research and the major research methods. The second part is the tomb study of the Six Dynasties tombs in Ma’anshan areas. From the excavated archaeological data summary of evolution of the Six Dynasties tombs the in local area:from Soochow multiple chamber tomb and the double chamber tomb of the Eastern Wu and the Western Jin Dynasty, developing to "Lv" double chamber tomb and "convex" shaped single chamber tomb of the Eastern Jin Dynasty period, and then to the the "convex" shaped single chamber tomb and rectangular single chamber tomb in which the wall’s outer arc is slightly drum type of Southern Dynasties. The top of the tomb is developing from dome roof of Wu Jin Dynasty to the top coupons of Eastern Jin and Southern Dynasties period. During the Western Jin Dynasty, there was no coffin bed and small niche, while, to the Eastern Jin Dynasty, there emerged the object called "convex" shaped small niches, and then to the Southern Dynasties period, the coffin bed sarcophagus and peach shape small niches appeared. Concerning tomb brick decoration decoration, it developed from emblazonry of Western Jin Dynasty, to tomb brick without decorative pattern of East Jin Dynasty and the Southern Dynasties, and then to the lotus pattern. The third part is researching the development typology research objects of Ma’anshan areas. It stands on unearthed porcelain, starting from the types of objects development perspective, summing up the regulations of Qing porcelain development of this period:the main trend is developing from dignified dumpy of Soochow and Western Jin Dynasty, gradually to "thin is beautiful " of Eastern Jin and Southern Dynasties period. Apart from a little amount of shapes such as salivary pot capacity from large to small, most items are all changed from small to large. The outline of objects is also gradually developed from stiff arc into the changefully graceful curves. And is pays more attention to practical shape. Handicap pot and chicken first pot diameter and bottom diameter varied from small to large, shallow to deep plate, wall from the straight wall developed into outwards, the neck from thick short gradually become thin, belly from the flat dwarf lengthen and become a long ellipsoid, implements the center of gravity, the proportion gradually become pot-long maintenance coordination, the shape of the whole become softer and perfect. In addition to the chicken head alike pot also from the early no handle hand to hand with handle, the chicken head alike pot also gradually become more stereo. Four tank and double tank by a round drum abdomen to arc abdomen, the body taller. The bowls became from shallow to deep belly abdominal development, lower abdomen straight to oblique arc abdomen, diameter and bottom diameter changes from small to large, the body become taller. The fourth part is talking about the related problems of the Six Dynasties Ma’anshan areas. Firstly, to compare the developments of Six Dynasties tombs in Ma’anshan areas and in Nanjing area, and to reveal why the two developments are common. After that, taking the unearthed model burial in tombs of Ma’anshan as the starting point, to explore the manor economy development status in this area at that time, meanwhile, to reveal the relationships between them and the gentry clans, religious beliefs and social cultural. The final part is the conclusion part. It explains the basic idea of the essay, and points out the shortcomings of the writing. At the undergraduate and postgraduate level, I have participated in many archaeological excavations and heritage research, not only to consolidate what I have learned in books, but also to accumulate a certain amount of practical experience. The study of the tombs of Ma’anshan areas is a long way to go, I hope there will be more archaeological workers join us, and there will be more and more academic achievements in the future.
