| " Reasonable Interest" is an ancient aesthetic category but full of vitality and itsdevelopment has experienced a long historical process. After the diligent cultivation ofgenerations of scholars, its connotation has been constantly enriched and developed. Itoriginated from China Poetics Discourse System and has a vast and far-reaching impacton literati’s aesthetic appreciation, thinking and writing skills. As the essence of theaesthetic qualities of the Song Dynasty poem," Reasonable Interest" makes Song poema different kind of style. This paper aims at a simple sort of aesthetic development andcharacteristics of "reasonable interest " category through longitudinal analysis todemonstrate the relationship between " reasonable interest" and Song poem in thespecific text of Song poem and try to capture the deep implication of " ReasonableInterest" category in Chinese literary theory through philosophic thinking.As for the " Reasonable Interest" features of the Song poem, this paper isconducted from two dimensions from the longitudinal time rheology and horizontalspatial expansion. Firstly, it has briefly sorted out the aesthetic process of the "Reason"and "Interest " and " Reasonable Interest ". Then, it discusses the origination,development and confirmation of the " Reasonable Interestâ€, analyzes the aestheticquality from the perspective of comparative study and investigates the reason why "Reasonable Interest" becomes very popular in Song dynasty. The focus of the researchis to highlight the aesthetic connotation and aesthetic qualities in Song context under theSong Dynasty cultural background.This paper is divided into four parts. The first part is introduction. It makes abrief introduction about the current status of study about “Reasonable Interest†categoryin Song poetry and explains the study’s value and significance. The first chaptersystematically sorts out the origination and development process of “ReasonableInterest†and further discusses the specific cultural background of the “ReasonableInterest†in Song poetry. The second chapter mainly focuses on analyzing the aestheticof “Reasonable Interest†through reading and studying the Song Dynasty poetry. Thethird chapter briefly discusses the values, functions, and shortcomings of thephilosophic poems in Song dynasty. This paper argues that studying “reasonableinterest†not only has great theoretical significance, but also has a lot of referentialsignificance in literary practice and literature appreciation activities. It is preciselybecause of the aesthetic qualities of “Reasonable Interest†that makes Song poetrybecome an artistic peak where it can be compared with Tang poetry. |
