The Su Shui Ji Wen Adverbs Study

Research of grammar on special book and Chinese language history needs a lot of basicwork, while the research of detailed dynastic history on special book is the important one.“SuShui JiWen” was finished by Si Maguang as a literary sketches,which includes16sections iswidely popular.There are many positive characteristics of “Su Shui JiWen”, such as itsreliable material, rich content,huge language capacity, unique genre, etc. All of this is suitablefor language research of detailed dynastic history on special book. Those can benefit theresearch of Chinese language history either.I use different approaches for reference and divide adverb into eight classes. I make acomprehensive description and create a systematic study of adverb. Meantime this thesisanalyzed its interior characteristics compared to the modern Chinese dictionary. Thecharacteristics of the adverb of “Su Shui JiWen” were carried on the summary throughgrammatical function, semantic orientation, the word many mean, synonymy, concurrent andsuccessive uses. These inspects can provides reason for Chinese adverb research. At the sametime, it contributes to compilation of dictionary. In a word, I chose the adverb of “Su ShuiJiWen” as research object, hope the research not only constructs the vocabulary of Chineselanguage history, but also provides a foundation material for Chinese grammar of Chineselanguage history of Song dynasty.
