| Shuo Yuan is an important ancient text which is written in the WesternHan Hong Jia emperor four years. The Western Han Dynasty famous writer Liu Xiangwrote the book. He made the Confucianism traditional political and religious thoughtfor the purpose,compiled the Important historical facts, legends of the pre-Qin to HanDynasty.The book coupled with his own moral principles.It has the great value in the study of language. The paper is proposed to study thelanguage of the book.The book has1906verbs. There are1030monosyllabic verbs and complex syllableverb876, which produce2585verb meanings. Besides the introduction and conclusion,this article references Mei-Jia ju "synonyms Ci Lin "verb-related classification system,these2585verb meanings is divided into six catergories according to defined classespolymerization: physical action verbs, verbs of mental activity, social behavior verbs,verbs phenomenon and the state association verbs and natural environmental changeverbs. Large-defined classes are further divided into small semantic class. Except for theintroduction and conclusion, the main part of this paper is divided into six categories.The first chapter mainly introduces the origins and versions, the research status, thejudge standard of the verbs, the verb profiles,the theory and method of the research.The second chapter to the seventh chapter: physical action verbs, physical actionverbs, verbs of mental activity, social behavior verbs, phenomenon verbs and the stateassociation verbs and the changes of the natural environmental verbs.Each sectionincludes three aspects of content:the overview of the verb,new meanings and newwords,addition to the "Chinese big dictionary".The conclusion of the part, by the description and discussion of the book, somephenomena verbs and some language features and social characteristics can reflectedthe character of the verb of the times. |
