As we all know, Bergson who could be said that was the most influential philosopher before world war ii was famous for his philosophy of life in this world, his anti-rational thought such as "generation""continunation" and "change" broke the dominance of rational philosophy. Bergson’s philosophy of life was the sign where the rationalism changed its way to irrationalism in the modern westen society. But most of Bergson"s works interpretated his philosophical thought, there was only one a literature focused on<smile and funny>. At the same time, scholars mainly study his philosophy of life and aesthetics, less refer to his view of art with a few papers, not even the specialized works. This paper regards artistic value of Bergon as main research object and discusses how he applied "continunation"and "intuition" into his artistic creation. All of these are important for us to understand Bergson’s philosophy of life and mean a lot.Secondly,in this paper,we also discuss the relationship between the art andcontinunation as well as the art and intuition. Bergson thought that arr was created by time, he discussed the timeliness of artistic creation, artistic works and art appreciation in detail. Meanwhile, he thought that intuition was the key to the door of art. The writers must rely on their intuition to grasp the object through the curtain when they created masterpieces, on the other hand the readers must rely on intuition to experience the feeling of writer when they enjoy their works.Thirdly, in this paper, we also combe the theory of comedy and funny in detail. Moreover, from these on, he also discussed the techniques of creating comedies and focued on introducing the situation comedy and words comedy, then analyzed the similarities and differences between comedy and tragedy.Finally, the paper discusses the influence of Bergson’s artistic value in the field of literary and introduces the effect of Bergson’s artistic value to the western modernist literature, especially in the western modernist literature branch—consciousness literature.
