Ethical Reflection On Mass Media Entertainment

In contemporary China’s information technology background, the mass media serve as an increasingly important role in society, is monitored by the social environment, the integration of public opinion who inheritors of human culture and the audience’s entertainment platform. Reflections on the role of mass media ethics from an ethical point of view, we find that it is through these pathways play a role communicators themselves as moral, moral education, social values makers, ethics regulations, social and moral watchdogs. Along with our media to promote market-oriented reform, the role of mass media in society has changed, the paper mass media entertainment phenomenon, for example, from the perspective of ethics, ethical phenomenon by analyzing its ethical consequences, ethical reasons, an attempt to explore the ethical norms and moral construct.Mass media entertainment manifested in two aspects, first, the overall increase in the content of entertainment, entertainment programs increasing proportion; secondly, entertainment penetrate to certain non-thinking entertainment, media content are also serious gradually entertainment together. Led to a series of mass media entertainment consequences, the paper " Amusing Ourselves to Death "," Simulation Environment" and " Understanding Media " analyzes three aspects of mass media entertainment to the audience, social and ethical consequences of their own making. Any of a social phenomenon, has its own specific reasons. This paper argues that, in the context of social transformation is the root cause of the mass media of entertainment, mass media itself is the direct cause of the characteristics of mass media entertainment, audience secular media awakening and self-awareness of the need for mass media entertainment practical reasons. Mass media entertainment ethics anomie analysis, and ultimately comes down to the need, namely the construction of the mass media ethics, which is the ultimate purpose and meaning of this article. We proceed from the ethical point of view to construct a reasonable and healthy mass media environment.
