Friedrich Wilhelm Nietzsche is one of the most famous German philosopher andinfluential figures in modern western philosophy. When Nietzsche’s ideas of thestrong will and eternal recurrence resounded through the world, people did not forgetthat he is also a poet and an essayist. During the years of Nietzsche’s, his aestheticthoughts did not catch the attention from the academia which as if authentic, but has agreat charming for the artists, and also put a direct impact on the emergence of theaesthetic modernity of literary theory of the20thcentury western “experiential”. Alarge number of philosophers, writers are in the form of their own response toNietzsche’s aesthetic thought. This article, based on the rereading the classics ofNietzsche’s which on the basis of Nietzsche’s philosophy, through cardingNietzsche’s aesthetic thoughts and appreciate the irrationality of Nietzsche’saesthetics spirit. The whole article is consisted of five interrelated chapters. The firstchapter is an overview of the domestic and foreign scholars study on Nietzsche’saesthetic thoughts. The second chapter, the author reviews more than two thousandyears about the western traditional aesthetics with the historical dimension to examinethe roots Nietzsche’s aesthetic thoughts. The third chapter uses The birth of tragedyand Inappropriate research as the model to interpret Nietzsche’s early aestheticthoughts and appreciate the irrationality of the idea. The fourth chapter uses AlsoSprach Zarathustra as the relevant text to explore the late Nietzsche’s philosophy,and on its basis to find out its connotation and essence of irrational aesthetic thoughts.The last chapter is the conclusion and the summary.
