Study On Su Xuelin’s Mythology On Chuci

The main product of Su Xuelin’s deliberation of Qu Fu is the exploration ofmythology in Chu Ci, which aims to probe cultural elements from mythology. Goingwith the trend of times and personal opportunities, Su Xuelin developed timelessresearch methods due to unceasing devotion on Chu ci all the year round, though hertheories such as “foreign culture” and “the world’s same origin” should be moremeditated.The thesis has been divided into three parts. According to this, part three includes the distinctiveness and deficiencyof Su Xuelin’s study related to mythology of Chu Ci. The distinctiveness is worthreferencing and learning for pundits such as macro global perspective, the microcomplements for background information, the combination of traditional and modernconsideration and also the comprehensive study. Meanwhile, the pundits should drawreflections and lessons from the disadvantages such as “the overladen western bias”and “the excessive contrastive method”.In addition, the conclusion discusses the influence handed down to generationsof Su Xuelin’s mythological idea in Chu Ci.
