Research On The Fragmentation Characteristics Of Chinese Mythology

Fragmentation is one of the most obvious features of Chinese mythology,which has always been studied by the mythological community.Based on the existing research results in the academic circles,this paper studies the fragmentation characteristics of Chinese mythology from three aspects: the manifestation,influencing factors and causes of formation.The fragmented features of Chinese mythology are mainly manifested in two aspects: the first is the scattered of the myth,which is characterized by the scarcity of Chinese mythology,the simple plot,the explicit narration and the lack of charm.The second is the absence of the myth system,which has never formed a strict and complete system.There is no clear blood pedigree between the mythological images,and the ecclesiastical system is rather vague.The formation of this feature of China's mythology,Mao Dun's " mythological historicized " point of view,but through the analysis of the common law of development of all kinds of myths in the world,and the characteristics of ancient Chinese mythology,the social,it is easy to realize the limitations of this view.There are three main factors that influence the formation of systematic characteristics of mythology: social atmosphere,communication and absorption,processing.In the process of the development of Greek mythology,these three factors played an irreplaceable role.They not only reflect the necessary process of the systematic construction of the myth,but also indicate the direction of the study of the causes of Chinese mythological fragmentation.Combining the three factors affecting the development of myth,we can realize the formation of Chinese mythology fragmentation characteristics mainly from three aspects: From the religious form,ancestor worship's exclusive make it is difficult to accumulate and absorb the elements of myth,in order to build a mythological system that transcends the group and time limit for the people to believe and continue to develop;From political thought aspect,influenced by the thought of people based and the concept of rank,it is difficult to form strong religious atmosphere at pre Qin;From traditional values,the tradition of pragmatism weakens people's attention to the mythological image,and thus affects the motivation of processing and sorting out myths.Even though myth fragmentation characteristics gave us a bit of regret,but it is a result of the combined action of various factors such as social,political,economic,culture.It reflects the state of China's early social development,and also has positive significance to the literature development of later generations.
