In this paper, second language acquisition, principles of teaching materials,teaching theory and assessment methods of teaching foreign language reading isbased on the use of interviews, questionnaires and studies comparative analysis.Based on the Xinjiang Normal University, select " Chinese Reading Course " and "Development of Chinese Reading " for the study, mainly on the overall structure ofthe two materials, texts, vocabulary, exercises, etc., and with a certain number ofteachers and students of the questionnaire surveys and interviews, the issues found inthe course materials, including textbooks body, usage and student evaluation ofteaching materials and teacher surveys, etc., in order to test these two sets oftextbooks in the preparation and use of the advantages and disadvantages, and givethe corresponding explanations and recommendations based on the above assessmentfindings.Introduction mainly describes the background of this study, the purpose andsignificance of the study and methods; second chapter, review the current researchachievements of Chinese reading materials, research methods, principles writtenliterature; Chapter Three Comparative analysis of the body parts of two textbooks,including the overall structure and main content of textbooks, lesson topics, sourcesand text difficulty, presentation of new words and difficulty level selection, the formand amount of exercise, and overall binding and print design, etc., in order topreliminary analysis of two teaching strengths and weaknesses; Chapter IV of thematerials selected for the investigation of a number of user objects, includingteachers and students, their interviews and questionnaires, users summarize allaspects of teaching view, this part of the study will serve as the basis for theconclusions and recommendations; fifth chapter summarizes the " Chinese ReadingCourse " and " development of Chinese " pros and cons, and make recommendationsfor its use in the preparation and so on.Through the teaching body analysis and user survey results, in terms of writtentext,"Chinese Reading Course" a little more difficult, topic outdated distribution ismessy, the user is recommended to set a topic for each lesson, the lesson around anumber of articles topics including;"Developing Chinese reading" relatively modestlength and difficulty, we recommend adding a certain amount of reading skills. In thewords written in part, the amount of the two materials are more appropriate words,moderate difficulty, but "Chinese Reading Course" terminology is difficult to becomea student reading disorder. In practice writing section, two volume textbook exercises and design are more reasonable, but can be increased to practice questions. Bindinglayout and design, two teaching quality is excellent, with appropriate illustrations andcomics can focus on prompt font color highlighting, distinct themes.Hope that results of this study can be helpful for the preparation of foreignlanguage teaching materials.
