YanGeling is a famous Chinese writer. She has won a lot of awards both on andoff the country since she started to publish works. In recent years, her works havebeen popular in film and televisions, because they have three-dimensional characters;difficult experiences; unique narrative mode. Especially after moving to UnitedStates, she tries her best to write in English so as to expand space for bilingualwriting. Her many works have been widely noted and well received by researchcommunity of Chinese literature.The works that YanGeling creates after emigration are researched by this paper.The paper tries to study the perspective on female of YanGeling and discover theunique charm of the female images which are created by her through sorting outclassification and generation of the female images; artistic characteristics andnarrative strategies.The paper is divided into five parts. Firstly, the female image of YanGeling’s new emigrant novels is dividedinto too categories:“Rebellious female” image and “the virgin Mary” image. Theformer part of these women mostly has been educated well. They have their ownideals and the common characteristics such as stubbornness and hard-working. Theycan endure poverty and hardship in the life, but if someone tries their self-esteem,they will take all means to rebel and maintain their own dignity.
